A moment of inspiraton (no sic) and there we go. Christmas 2009 over. Neon string lights and latex prehistoric yuletide 'logs'. When its quiet you can hear the electricity whine from the neon string and it's pretty irritating - but I can cope.
The tree doesn't smell which is disappointing.
